Join us for a groundbreaking event as Winona State Men’s Golf proudly hosts our very first Marathon Golf! The Warriors will be teeing off right when there is a glimpse of sunlight and finishing when we can no longer see the golf ball. It’s a marathon of golf, an incredible all-day journey and we're reaching out for your invaluable support as we strive to conquer as many holes as we can. Much like the walkathons where supporters pledge for every mile walked, we're seeking your donations for every hole we complete. Whether it's just a few cents or a more generous contribution per hole, every bit counts. To simplify the process and keep our focus on the game, we kindly ask that you donate the full amount upfront, based on our goal of completing approximately 100 holes. This approach ensures a smooth and efficient donation process, allowing us to fully immerse ourselves in the challenge. Our golf team is driven by excellence and high aspirations. Year-round, we embark on journeys across the country, spanning from the lush greens of Wisconsin to the heartland of Oklahoma, all the way to the sunny fairways of Florida. These travels bring us face-to-face with the finest competition, a crucial step in improving our rankings and honing our skills for the postseason. We are looking to fundraise to help offset some of these costs and continue providing opportunities for our student-athletes!

Why are donations necessary?
The journey to greatness comes at a cost. Tournament entry fees, along with the expenses of travel and accommodation, can quickly accumulate. While our school provides essential funding, it falls short of covering all our requirements. As a result, we shoulder the responsibility of fundraising to bridge the gap in our annual budget. To illustrate the financial challenge we face, here's a breakdown of last season's expenses: Tournament Entry Fees: $13,500, Lodging: $9,500, Gas and Van Rental: $8,100, Food: $7,200, and Additional Expenses: $5,500 Your support directly impacts our ability to compete at the highest level and ensures that we have the resources necessary to excel. We greatly appreciate your consideration and willingness to contribute.
